Khmer Wedding Part 1: The Ceremony

In February I was lucky enough to be invited to a traditional rural Khmer wedding as a second photographer. What followed was three days of cooking, chanting, costume changes, eating, dancing and celebrating in true prismatic Cambodian style.

Most of the Buddhist symbolism was lost on me; but I’m sure everyone there would join me in wishing the bride and groom, Kunthea and Sovann, all the luck, health and happiness in the future.
